- Savage ShapiroJan 10, 2024 · 2 years agoUsing dead pixels to mine cryptocurrencies is not a legitimate method. Dead pixels are simply malfunctioning pixels on a display screen and have no computational power. Mining cryptocurrencies requires powerful hardware, such as ASIC miners or high-performance GPUs, to solve complex mathematical problems. Dead pixels cannot contribute to this process in any way.
- Sandi Nafsa Vina ErlindaJan 29, 2025 · a year agoHaha, that's a funny idea! Unfortunately, dead pixels cannot be used to mine cryptocurrencies. Mining requires a significant amount of computational power, which dead pixels do not possess. Dead pixels are just defects on a screen and have no impact on the mining process. So, stick to using proper mining equipment if you want to mine cryptocurrencies.
- S StFeb 09, 2021 · 5 years agoAs an expert from BYDFi, I can confirm that dead pixels cannot be used for mining cryptocurrencies. Mining requires specialized hardware that can perform complex calculations at a high speed. Dead pixels are simply damaged pixels on a screen and do not have any computational capabilities. To mine cryptocurrencies, you need to invest in proper mining equipment and join a mining pool or use a cloud mining service.
